Love That Baby Fresh Smell

My sister recently gifted us a couple bottles of Dreft laundry detergent along with a Little Me layette set. Not only do I love the smell of babies, but I love the smell of baby clothes. What I don’t like smelling is some of the stuff that comes out of babies, such as burped milk, pee, or yellow/green watery poop.
It is expected that some of those lovely things that come out of my son sometimes project onto his clothing, and my clothing. So immediately after this episode happens, I strip myself and my son naked. Horrible if this happens in public, because then I end up walking around smelling like cantaloupe juice or poop.

When this happens to me at home, I soak the clothes in water, scrub with stain remover, and throw it into the washer. And then I pray that the adorable outfit does not have a stain after washing. This is the first time I have used Dreft, and other than the fact that it is very safe for Baby E, I have fallen in love with the smell! I found that Dreft has a great smell that lasts a while after washing, believe me there has been a pile of baby clothes on my couch for a week. I am actually considering using the stuff for my own clothes, my excuse being that baby lays his head on my shirt- there you go Husband! Unfortunately I already used Dreft laundry detergent to wash the layette set my sister gifted us, did not last long…
